Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman ndc has joined as Secretary of the Bangladesh Parliament Secretariat on 27/02/2025. Before joining the post, he served as the Registrar (Additional Secretary) of the Joint Stock Companies and Firms from 14 January 2024 to 26 February 2025. Mentioning that he has previously served in various positions as Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Director (Additional Secretary) of the Directorate of Primary Education, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs, Zonal Executive Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) in Trishal, Mymensingh, Senior Assistant Secretary in the Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Ministry of Land, Information and Communication Technology Division. He also worked in different districts as Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner Land.

Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman ndc, has obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy and Management from The University of Melbourne, Australia with the AusAID Scholarship of the Australian Government. Besides, he has successfully completed the Master in Economics, Master in Governance Studies degree and also National Defence Course (NDC) from the National Defence College, Dhaka.

Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman ndc was born in the district of Jhalakati. In his personal life, he is the father of a daughter and a son.
